Welcome to the Dana Middle School PTA Corner!



Connecting families and schools for student success is the core purpose and value of PTA. As the nation's largest volunteer and parent-based organization, PTA has focused on improving the lives of children and youth with stronger family-school partnerships since 1897.


PTA helps ensure that parents have a seat at the table when important decisions that affect schools are made. By joining PTA you show your children that school matters, and that you are invested in their success. When families, schools and communities work effectively together as partners, family engagement is a powerful strategy that boosts student achievement and better prepares our children to lead healthy, happy and productive lives.


PTA Membership dues for the 2016-2017 school year are $10. Membership envelopes are available in the school office, or by emailing We appreciate our members and look forward to working with all of you!


Through participation in seasonal fundraisers, events, PTA McTeacher and Family Dine-out nights our school community supports PTA’s efforts in funding quality programs at Dana Middle School, including: 


  • Grade/Team Assemblies

  • Staff Appreciation Week

  • Parent Education

  • Grade/Team field trips

  • PRIDE/CORE Student Merit incentives

  • Student agendas/handbooks

  • Library Books and AR incentives

  • Where Everybody Belongs (WEB) program support

  • Technology enhancements


The 2017-2018 PTA budget will be presented on September 21 at the open association meeting during Back-to-School Night. We appreciate the support of our Dana families and community members to accomplish these goals.


2017-2018 Dana PTA meetings -

The Dana PTA holds open association and board meetings during the school from 6:30-7:30 pm on the Dana campus. Dana parents/guardians, teachers, and staff are welcome to attend open association meetings.

Dana PTA Open Association meetings are held in the MPR.
